Meet The Team

Mr. Peter Swan is an experienced general surgeon with specialist training in hepato-pancreatico-biliary (HPB) surgery, transplant retrieval surgery, acute general surgery and advanced techniques for hernia repair. Originally from the south of England, he has spent the past 13 years working in New Zealand as a consultant surgeon in the public sector and is committed to providing safe, thoughtful, patient-centred care.

Dr. Anastasia Dean FRACS (Vasc) is a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon practising in Auckland. She trained across Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney and completed an aortic fellowship in Sweden. Anastasia treats aortic, peripheral arterial and carotid disease, and dialysis access, offering open and minimally invasive endovascular options. She is committed to personalised, evidence-based care and clear, compassionate communication with patients and their families.

Mr. Sam Taylor FRACS (Vasc) is a vascular and endovascular surgeon practising in Auckland. He graduated from the University of Otago, trained across New Zealand and Australia, and undertook further fellowship experience in renal transplantation. Sam treats a wide range of arterial and venous conditions, including aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease and varicose veins. He offers open and minimally invasive treatment, with an emphasis on careful assessment, shared decisions and care tailored to each patient.

Dr. Rose Duckett is a consultant anaesthetist working both in private practice and in public practice at Auckland City Hospital. Her clinical interests include trauma, upper gastrointestinal surgery and general surgery. She is actively involved in training and professional development and is known for her collaborative approach, working closely with clinical teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
